Recently we delivered a complete Long Reach kit for a Doosan DX420LC-7 excavator to a customer in Denmark. In close cooperation with all parties we designed a custom build boom and arm fit for use. A transport bracket is included, so that the customer can easily swap between standard front and Long-reach front.
The machine is primarily used for digging gravel, cleaning lakes and marshes and laying stones at piers. The arm and monoboom is 22 meters in fully extended version. Furthermore, it is equiped with extra hydraulic lines, to connect all kind of tools.
'He said it with a smile'
The machine operator and his brand new Develon DX420 lift around 640 bucketfuls out of a small lake every day. The machine operator says: ‘It is an efficient and comfortable machine. It takes about 20 to 25 scoops in 10 minutes. If you calculate it with two cubic meters of earth, shoveling in approximately 8.5 hours, then it is about thirty five hundred tons per day. That, I would say, is okay, he said with a smile.’
Conservation
All modified components are painted with a two layer 2-component painting system, completely according to the Doosan color scheme. The machine is delivered complete with BECO parts manual , user manual and new lfiting/transportation charts.
CE 2B marking
Before delivery, the entire machine is extensively tested and delivered turn-key. The entire combination is delivered under CE by BECO.
